Transportation technology continues to evolve rapidly. Every day, America moves closer to a transportation sector that will be more connected, electrified, shared, and ultimately autonomous.

The IIJA will accelerate these trends significantly. The $370.3 billion in IIJA funding for electric vehicle (EV) charging, along with electrification of ports, airports, railways, and EV buses and ferries, will create significant opportunities for transportation sector businesses.

NEMA will track closely and influence the implementation of these funds as they move through federal agencies, program offices, states, and specific program opportunities.
