He has spent more than a decade working at a trade association and over 14 years collaborating with the Department of Defense (DoD). With a strong background in computer hardware design and sales, Steve also has more than 15 years of expertise in these areas. His skills span strategic planning, customer service, sales growth, cost control, and risk management. Steve is also well-versed in product life cycle support, quality assurance, and ISO 9001 compliance, with over 12 years of experience in change management processes.
Ken McKinney | Principle Engineer at UL Solutions
Ken has been with UL for 29 years in various technical roles. He is currently UL’s principal engineer for low and medium-voltage transformers, class 2 power supplies, and fault management power systems. Ken is responsible for technical interpretations of certification standards, reviewing certification projects, and ensuring the technical competency of UL staff when interfacing with energy industry members. Ken is currently the chair of the Code-Making Panel 1 (NEC-P01) and NFPA 70 (NEC). Ken has presented at various technical meetings and is a UL electrical council member and a distinguished technical staff member at UL.
