NEMA is partnering with Edge Factor, a widely-used e-learning platform that focuses on career exploration, to equip NEMA member companies with tools to inspire, engage, and connect with their future workforce.
Starting January 1, 2022, Edge Factor will provide NEMA members access to its platform: www.edgefactor.com, which includes cinematic media and tools to inspire and build a skilled workforce pipeline. NEMA members will gain access to e-learning resources, free access to four specific toolkits (Future Skills, Diversity in Skilled Trades, Summer Camp, and Rock MFG DAY), and be given the ability to build company profiles to promote electrical manufacturing careers and raise awareness about their organization.
“We are excited to partner with Edge Factor to support our members’ workforce development efforts and help them build a solid talent pipeline,” said Debra Phillips, NEMA President and CEO. “This partnership will help our members engage, attract, and retain the skilled talent they need to grow their business and ensure our industry continues to thrive.”
“Having worked closely with many of the NEMA members in their communities, I am eager to continue building on the successes and the partnership with NEMA,” said Jeremy Bout, President of Edge Factor. “Our team is eager to bring the NEMA members and their stories to our platform and help grow the talent pipeline into the electrical manufacturing industry.”
“We couldn’t be prouder to stand beside the team at NEMA and strategically deliver regional solutions to national workforce development challenges,” said Larissa Hofman, Vice President of Edge Factor. “Where there is a need, there is opportunity… and we feel excited and energized by NEMA’s commitment to providing workforce development tools for its members.”
The partnership continues NEMA’s Workforce Development Strategic Initiative, which Edge Factor has diligently supported.
