NEMA established the Industrial Control Panels Council to promote the safe and proper installation of industrial control panels as defined by Article 409 of the National Electrical Code^®. The Council will do this by providing guidance and recommendations on installation practices for various jurisdictions, acting as an advocate for Standards and best practice documents for the industry, and developing and driving messaging and educational materials.
