Transformers
A transformer is a static electrical machine that
transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits. Transformers
are used for increasing or decreasing the alternating voltages in
electric power applications, and for coupling the stages of signal
processing circuits.
Products include:
- Distribution transformers
- Dry-type
distribution transformers (including integral accessories) and
underground residential distribution transformers (URT) units (all
voltages, single- and three-phase)
- Large power transformers
- Liquid-immersed transformers
- Network transformers
- Reactor and special-purpose transformers
- Reactors and voltage regulators
