A-line Lamp Shipments Decline in First Quarter 2022
A-line lamp shipments declined in the first quarter of 2022 compared to the previous year and prior quarter. LED A-line lamp shipments decreased 19.5 percent in 1Q 2022 when compared to the same quarter last year (1Q 2021.) They also showed a decline compared to the previous quarter decreasing 14.9 percent in 1Q 2022 compared to 4Q 2021. Halogen and CFL A-line lamp shipments continue to decline in 1Q 2022 when compared to the same time period last year, decreasing by 24.2 percent and 58.4 percent, respectively. Compared to 4Q 2021, Halogen A-line lamp shipments decreased 18.6 percent in 1Q 2022 and CFL A-Line shipments decreased 28.6 percent.
LED A-line lamp shipments account for 80.1 percent of the consumer lamp market, followed by halogen A-line lamps which account for 19.2 percent. CFLs comprise the remaining 0.7 percent of the A-line consumer market.
