Karin Moore is Senior Vice President, Legal & Regulatory, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) where she is responsible for all aspects of the association’s
legal oversight and advocacy efforts with regulatory agencies.
Karin was previously Senior Vice President & General Counsel of the Grocery Manufacturers Association (now Consumer Brands Association) and co-General Counsel of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America. She was most recently a Director with
Hyman, Phelps & McNamara, P.C., where she counseled clients on a broad range of FDA and antitrust regulatory, policy and compliance matters. Earlier in her career, Karin was an antitrust litigator with the Federal Trade Commission and O’Melveny
& Myers LLP.
Karin is an active member of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, an editor of the forthcoming Antitrust and Associations Handbook, and a Vice-Chair of the Section’s Agriculture & Food Committee. Karin obtained her J.D. from George Mason University
School of Law, and her B.A. in economics from Hobart & William Smith Colleges. Karin is originally from Watkins Glen, NY and lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, two children and mastiff.
