The NEMA Transformer Section is part the Utility Products & Systems Division, which is heavily involved with domestic and international technical activities. Products in scope include distribution, dry-type, large and small power, and specialty transformers as well as transmission and distribution voltage regulators. The mission of this Section is to develop transformer product Standards and advocate technical and industry positions that are in the best interests of the industry, Member companies, and the users of their products throughout North America and the world.
