NEMA opened its office in Beijing, China in April 2004.

Objectives:

• Promote cooperation between NEMA and Chinese electrical industry;
• Maintain a trade environment that ensures equivalent and competitive access to markets;
• Facilitate trade with China;

Services provided:  

• Market information in the field of electrical products;
• Help to sell NEMA members’ products;
• Help in sourcing materials or products from China;
• Assistance finding Chinese business partners;
• Help to obtain product certifications (such as CCC and energy efficiency certifications);
• Help to protect NEMA members’ IPR
