• Econolite Awarded State of Hawaii Traffic Monitoring Data Collection Project
  Econolite Control Products, Inc., has been awarded the bid for a federal-aid project, “Continuous Traffic Monitoring Data Collection Goods and Services-Statewide,” for the state of Hawaii. Econolite will provide a web-based system to manage designated traffic data collection sources by utilizing Econolite’s data collection and management service. 4/22/05
• Nexans Wins 50 Million Euro Contract for Dolphin Gas Project
  Nexans has been awarded a 50 million euro contract by Dolphin Energy to manufacture and install the chemical injection/control umbilicals for the Dolphin Gas project in the Middle East. 4/21/05
• ABB Wins $41 Million Transformer Order in India
  ABB has won a $41 million order in India for extra-high-voltage transformers and shunt reactors, which will strengthen the country’s power network and help meet the growing demand for electricity. 4/13/05
• Schneider Electric UK Wins Switchgear Order for Wind Farm
  Schneider Electric UK has won a switchgear order from Gamesa Energia Services for Tir Mostyn wind farm, which is located in Wales. 4/13/05
• Siemens Secures Industrial Power Plant Orders from Italy and Saudi Arabia
  The Siemens Power Generation group has won an order to supply the main components for a combined cycle power plant in Bergamo, Italy. 4/12/05

• Honeywell to Buy Zellweger Analytics

  L-3 Communications announced that it has acquired Mobile-Vision, Inc., to be renamed L-3 Communications Mobile-Vision, Inc. 4/19/05
• Agfa to Acquire Heartlab, Inc.
  Agfa-Gevaert has reached an agreement to acquire all of the shares of Heartlab, Inc., a designer and supplier of image and information networks for cardiology. 4/19/05
• Schneider Electric Acquires Power Measurement, Inc.
  Schneider Electric announced the completion of its acquisition of Canadian-based Power Measurement, Inc., a designer, manufacturer, and provider of enterprise energy management systems for energy suppliers, service providers, and energy consumers. 4/18/05
