• L-3 Communications Wins Contract to Provide Circuit Breakers to the U.S. Navy
  L-3 Communications' SPD Electrical Systems subsidiary has been awarded a $32.8 million contract to manufacture and deliver special purpose, high-reliability circuit breakers that will be installed aboard U.S. Navy Virginia and Los Angeles Class submarines. 12/17/03
• Honeywell Wins $60 Million Contract to Modernize Algeria Refinery
  Honeywell has received a $60 million contract from Algerian oil company Naftec Spa for an automation project at its refinery in Arzew, Algeria. 12/16/03
• ABB Wins $48 Million Contract from U.S. Postal Service
  ABB has won a $48 million robotics contract from the United States Postal Service to help it increase the efficiency of the mail service. 12/14/04
• Advance Receives Department of Energy Funding to Support Solid-State Lighting Development
  Advance Transformer, a division of Philips Electronics North America Corporation, announced its participation in an award granted to Philips by the DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory to fund future solid-state lighting product development activities. 12/13/04
• Honeywell Wins Lighting Contract for Boeing 7E7
  Honeywell International Inc. has won a contract from Boeing Co. to provide exterior lighting for the new 7E7 Dreamliner aircraft. 12/8/04
• ABB Wins Order to Strengthen Power Supply in South Africa
  ABB said it has won a  $16 million technology order to strengthen power supply in the Western Cape region of South Africa. 12/7/04
• Chevron Energy Solutions to Install FuelCell Energy Power Plant at USPS Facility
  FuelCell Energy, Inc., announced that Chevron Energy Solutions has sold a 250-kW Direct FuelCell power plant to the U.S. Postal Service's San Francisco Processing and Distribution Center. 12/6/04
• Emerson Wins $3.1 Million Contract to Automate Australian Mine
  Emerson Process Management has won a $3.1 million contract for digital automation and control of minerals processing at the BHP Billiton nickel/cobalt mine and treatment facility under construction in Ravensthorpe, Australia. 12/3/04
• ABB Wins $24 Million Mining Automation Order in China
  ABB has won a $24 million order from Huainan Mining Group Co. Ltd. of China, to supply mine hoist equipment for eight coal mines. 12/1/04

• Honeywell to Offer to Acquire Novar for 1.2 Billion Euros
  Honeywell has reached agreement with the board of directors of Novar plc on the terms of recommended offers for the entire issued ordinary and preference share capital of Novar. 12/14/04

  Schneider Electric has acquired Abacus Engineered Systems, a U.S.-based provider of facility energy and engineering solutions. 12/3/04

  MacLean Power Systems LLC, headquartered in Franklin Park, Illinois, has acquired the assets of Joslyn Manufacturing Company LLC. 11/30/04
• Merge eFilm to Acquire AccuImage Diagnostics Corp.
  Merge Technologies Incorporated, d.b.a. Merge eFilm and AccuImage Diagnostics Corp. have announced the signing of a definitive agreement by which Merge eFilm will acquire AccuImage Diagnostic Corp. 11/29/04
