John Dineen, president and CEO of GE Healthcare, said, “Having a single leader like Jan De Witte lead both businesses sends a visible signal to our customers that GE Healthcare is dedicated to growing its IT and solutions offerings, providing them with a unique partner that can deliver the strategic advice they need with outstanding technology. Jan’s extensive experience with technology across global markets makes him the right fit to lead and develop the growth of these two businesses.”
De Witte was named president and CEO of GE Healthcare Performance Solutions in June 2010. He has served in a number of strategic technology and business leadership roles since he joined GE in 1999. He has a background in services, digital business strategy, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and Lean Six Sigma. Previously, De Witte led GE Healthcare’s $1.2 billion Services business across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, a role that also oversaw the company’s regional Healthcare IT businesses.
