NEMA opened its office in Beijing, China in April 2004.
Objectives:
- Promote cooperation between NEMA and Chinese electrical industry;
- Maintain a trade environment that ensures equivalent and competitive access to markets;
- Facilitate trade with China;
Services provided:
- Market information in the field of electrical products;
- Help to sell NEMA members’ products;
- Help in sourcing materials or products from China;
- Assistance finding Chinese business partners;
- Help to obtain product certifications (such as CCC and energy efficiency certifications);
- Help to protect NEMA members’ IPR
